Zulia Towing and Barge Co. C.A. a Company that has been operating for more since 1957 in the field of marine transportation, with a fleet of its own property consisting of eleven (11) tugs, two (2) supply boat and eight (8) crew boats, completely refurbished, and which have been delivering a permanent service through out the years to the different petroleum and commercial ports and terminals of the country, among them: Puerto de Maracaibo, Puerto de La Guaira, Puerto Cabello and in the near future, Puerto de Guiria and Guanta.
Our company is established in the city of Maracaibo, capital of the State of Zulia, Republic of Venezuela. The purpose of the company is buying/selling, importing, exporting, construction, repairs and leasing of all type of barges, tugs and ships as well as all its equipment and parts; all types of marine operations, as: towing, leasing of marine equipment, naval construction, ship repairs and any other type of marine, lake of fluvial operation, and in general to carry out all types of operations.
For many years we have been attending to the requirements of the oil industry with the tankers that moor in and sheer off from the main oil and petrochemical docks of the country, as well as the different commercial cargo ships, attended by the Naval Agencies in general. Standing out also for the leadership we have assumed by the assistance given to oil ships that have run around, re-floating them with success with our tugs.
Our main clients, which are the national and international oil industry (such as: Shell, BulkGuasare, ChevronTexaco, PDVSA, Maersk, Foramer, entre otras) and also all the shipping agencies that operate in the country may give reference of our great experience in this activity.
In addition to our fleet, the company counts in its main base of operations, located in Maracaibo with a physical plant of approximately 1,200 M2, where it has the factories to the workings of maintenance and services of the units, as well as a warehouse with an inventory to take care of the requirements of basic and necessary services of the units, which gives an infrastructure us that allows the execution us of our operations of an efficient and opportune way. Additionally, one counts on permanent bases of operations and offices in Port Hair and the Guaira.
